It seems like it is not easy to find fruit trees or nurseries supplying fruit trees in South Africa.

      i am from modulawhowa primary co-operative traded as modulawhowa plant nursery
      and our core business is in indigenous tree plantation.
      and we produce our own trees and seedlings
      we also do a bit of fruit trees
      and we have sizes from 1litre to 40 litres at a competitive and fair pricing.

    Hi Isabel, Unfortunately we are not able to assist you except with the links we published. Can anyone else maybe supply us with info where to get hold of Fruit Trees for a nursery? In the mean time we will try and source a supplier. Can you also update us if you find one Isabel?

    I would like to buy a ‘Satsuma Plum’ to replace one that has died. I live in Hilton outside of Pietermaritzburg; are there any nurseries in KZN who could supply this tree to me?

      There is a nurserie in Polokwane on the Burgersfort road, you past the petshop and nurserie at sterkloop then you get a place that sells pots just past that you will see it on your right side, they sell all kinds of fruit trees, unfortunetly i cannot remember the name of this nurserie,

    Very helpful blog
    Looking for 30 sweet cherry trees for Hogsback area EC.
    Every large nursery-Stargrow etc-have said they only grow trees on contract to cherry farmers?!
    Not sure how one is able to get hold of trees to become a cherry farmer?
    Any advice would help
