The Internet is a powerful communication medium in which the genius, Mr. Bill Gates, played a key role. It did not take long to become a place to share and send information. It replaced the fax machine, letters in envelopes and lately the normal Telkom phone is in danger.

Overnight millions of Websites populated cyber space and soon companies realized the power of Internet advertizing (marketing). One good reason is that it is a global advertizing medium and according to me, anyone who is overlooking this is losing out.

Blogging soon followed. A blog (a contraction of the term "weblog") is a type of website with regular entries. Some provide commentary or news on a particular subject where others function as more personal online diaries. The ability for readers to leave comments in an interactive format is an important part of many blogs. As of December 2007, blog search engine Technorati was tracking more than 112 million blogs.

Considering the facts mentioned above we know what role this site, as many others, can play in putting Helderberg on display to the globe. (The same the Google vehicle which was driving around in Helderberg will be doing!)

Our vision is to have each and every one in the Helderberg area listed - a mammoth task we are enthusiastic about. Although we are canvassing continuously we are encouraging everyone to submit their business or service for placement. This will speed things up tremendously.
